- Music listening history stored on any external server
Anonymous Identifiers
Mood Dial uses an anonymous, app-scoped identifier provided by Apple's platform services to operate core features such as app security, purchase validation, and data synchronization.
This identifier is not linked to your real-world identity, cannot be used across apps, and cannot personally identify you.
What Stays On Your Device
All your music preferences, mood selections, and personalization settings remain exclusively on your device. None of this information is ever accessed or transmitted.
Apple Music Integration
Mood Dial integrates with Apple Music to provide personalized recommendations. Your Apple Music data is handled according to Apple's Privacy Policy (opens in new window) and is never sent to any external server.
In-App Purchases
Mood Dial uses RevenueCat (opens in new window) to securely manage in-app purchases. RevenueCat processes purchase information according to their privacy policy. No personal data beyond what's necessary for purchase processing is collected.
Analytics
Mood Dial uses PostHog (opens in new window), a privacy-focused analytics platform, to understand how the app is used and to improve the experience. PostHog collects anonymous usage data such as which features are used and general interaction patterns.
This data is not linked to your identity, does not include your music preferences or listening history, and is never used for advertising or sold to third parties. No personal information, health data, or Apple Music data is sent to PostHog.
